The North Texas Area Leader Event
The spirit of the 2007 General Assembly continued with this feast of opportunities to worship, learn and fellowship that prepare us to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. The North Texas Area Leader Event was held at Central Christian Church on Saturday, January 19, 2008 beginning at 8:00 a.m.

Two featured workshops were delivered by our event keynote speaker, Rick Morse, Vice Predident for New Church Ministry and Mission Initiatives, Church Extension, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Presenter Bio - Rick Morse
Rick is Vice President for New Church Ministry and Mission Initiatives, Church Extension, Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). He joined the New Church Ministry staff early in 2001 coming from Lake Washington Christian Church in Seattle, WA - a congregation he planted and then pastored for 17 years. Rick's experience with new church planting and ability to create and communicate a viable vision make him an invaluable member of the team. His leadership has transformed the movement into a vital, God-led ministry of Disciples.
