Dr. Abraham Vema Will Be Our Guest Speaker December 2, 2007
Dr. Abraham Vema of Abraham International Leadership Ministries will speak at Central Christian Church’s 11:00 AM worship and hold a Question and Answer Discussion at 9:45 AM in Fellowship Hall. He will speak on "Daniel the Diplomat," and how monotheism significantly influenced the East during the time of the great prophet Daniel.
This special Advent message will explore how the prophetic message of our Lord Jesus Christ's virgin birth first came to the East through the prophet Isaiah (800B.C.) and in particular Daniel in 600 B.C. Dr. Vema will be explaining the political, philosophical, religious, sub-cultural and theological situation during the time of Daniel from Japan, Korea, China, India, Persia, Babylon, Assyria, Israel, Egypt and North Africa: these key players at the Axis of Civilization.
He will entertain Question and Answer Discussion before the Church service at 9:45 AM in the Fellowship Hall regarding world political and religious movements. Written questions will be appreciated. He requests that all those in attendance read Daniel chapter 1 and review the world map to see “Axis of Civilization.”
Dr. Vema is the President of Abraham International Leadership Ministries, a ministry of personal friendship and fellowship in the spirit of Jesus to the ambassadors in New York, Washington D.C. and Geneva and leaders of the world, by facilitating charitable assistance and spiritual counsel for the welfare of all people.
Please note that at the request of Dr. Vema, his message will not be carried on our streaming media, podcast or TeleWorship service for Sunday, Dec. 2nd. Please plan on being present to hear Dr. Vema's message. To serve our remote listeners, we will present another message for our virtual worshipers on that date.
