The following ministry pages is where the “rubber meets the road”. What does Central Christian Church do to engage the hearts, minds, physical and social needs of its neighbors and members? What does an urban spirituality center look like in practice?
We try to answer these questions here.

A local church is a wonder of organization, (sometimes disorganization), constantly in flux to the needs of its constituents. It must work in obedience to God to provide community, justice, and deep Christian spirituality even when its neighbors don’t necessarily think that’s what they need. Other ministries grow and develop in response to explicit needs.

The greatest opportunities to grow in the Christian faith come through serving. Jesus did not come to be served, but to serve and to give his life as a ransom for many.
