Fleur-de-Lis Symbols
The fleur de lis (floer’-de-le’) resembles three flower pedals tied with an encircling band. It was worn as a heraldic device in medieval France. In the Church it is used as a symbol of the Trinity: the three persons of God in one as three pedals in one flower.
