Guest Pianist and Vocalist in Worship on September 9, 2007
In our Sunday Morning Worship on Sunday, September 9, 2007, we were blessed with presence of two very talented musicians from our Dallas community. Joining us as guests were pianist Otis Lloyd and vocal soloist Eran McGowan. Both are widely known in many Disciples Churches in the Southwest.

Otis Lloyd
Otis is Co-Director of the South Dallas Concert Choir, Organist for New Hope Baptist Church and a member of Cedar Crest C.M.E. Otis is a native of Longview. He has been playing and leading music for many years for the South West Region Disciples of Christ Men’s Retreat in Brownwood, Texas. He is a graduate of Jarvis Christian College, and obtained a masters of Music Education from University of Arizona. He has acted as chairman of music for the first Billy Graham Crusade held at Texas Stadium. Otis will be traveling in November to Assisi Italy to host a music workshop to teach spirituals. Otis has taught music in Public schools for over 50 years, and also at Paul Quinn College.
Eran McGowan
Soloist, Eran McGowan is from St. Andrews-Colombia and a recent graduate of Paul Quinn College. Aaron is working on his Masters at TWU, in education. He teaches in DISD. Aaron’s Caribbean upbringing led him to sing in English, Spanish, French, German, Latin, Italian, and Portuguese in many and various churches. He is a member of the South Dallas Concert Choir and Faith Temple, Seventh Day Adventist Church of Dallas.
