Serving Neighbors Near, Neighbors Far
The Vision of Central Christian Church is to be the hospitable hands of Jesus Christ for our neighbors near and far. We aspire to be giving ourselves away in the name of Jesus. Following the example of Jesus, our purpose is to be for others.
Serving Our Neighbors Near
Our nearby neighbors are the first to whom we seek to extend Jesus’ hospitality. We intend to make the neighborhood around our campus and the neighborhoods in which we live more livable environments as Jesus lives in us. We participate in a number of efforts to serve our neighbors in the Dallas Metroplex. We welcome our neighbors to support and join us in these opportunities to give ourselves away to our nearby neighbors.
Serving Our Neighbors Far
Recognizing that we live in a global village, we also extend the hospitality of Jesus to neighbors who are far from us. God has given us personal relationships through which we can give ourselves away to our neighbors in Los Fresnos, Texas; Matamoros, Mexico; Thailand, Burma and Sudan. Our nearby neighbors are also welcome to enjoy these relationships and join us in giving ourselves away to our neighbors around the world.
SERVING BEYOND OURSELVES
In the Spring of 2009, Senior Pastor Norman Stolpe delivered a five-part message titled "Your Light Shall Break Forth like the Dawn." This series discusses the promise of Isaiah 58, that God’s blessing comes in response to serving people in need, as viewed through the lens of a Gospel narrative.
This series states our principles in seeking to serve others.

You do not have to be a member of Central CHristian Church to join in in service! Or, a member of any church for that matter. All or welcome who wish to support our causes, missions and service to the community.
