The Crèche Window
The center window on the west wall shows the infant Jesus being adored by his mother, the Virgin Mary. Through the birth of Jesus, God comes to us as a human person, sharing not only our physical life but the joys and struggles, even death, of being human. Christmas is not just a delightful story but integral to our redemption and intimate relationship with God. The palm branch, star cross and flower point to Jesus passion: the Triumphal Entry into Jerusalem, his crucifixion and resurrection.
