An Invitation to Join Our Church Family

Do you desire to belong to a local gathering of inspired followers of Jesus who are dedicated to helping their neighbors and each other?   Membership at Central Christian Church means agreeing to participate  in  a “good news community”.     Our faith  is practiced in reaction to positively confessing the following good news:    “Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God, and God has raised him from the dead.   Jesus is Lord and Savior”.   Mt. 16:15-17, Rom. 10:8-9

Membership at Central Christian Church begins with this public confession, (usually in response to an invitation in a worship service from the Pastor).  However, that’s only the beginning in helping you on your journey of  faith!  Practical ways we help each other to discover and  follow Jesus also include:

• Spiritual growth through small groups, mentoring and direction
• Regular community worship, communion, prayer and fellowship
• Experiencing the fruit of the Spirit such as faith, hope, love, forgiveness, humility
• Emotional, spiritual, physical healing
• Biblical study, teaching, and meditation through classes groups, and web based courses
• Community service through ministry teams which match your gifts and talents (see other pages)
• Open-mindedness to the Spirit’s leading (so what if we haven’t done it that way before?)
