Lord's Supper Themes

The loaf of bread and stalks of wheat as well as the chalice (communion cup) and the grape vines remind us of the Lord’s Supper and Jesus’ body broken and blood shed for our sins that sealed the New Covenant. These themes are repeated on the Christ Candle stand and the bas-relief over the narthex (rear) door.
