Timothys

Disciples of Christ Churches call those who enter the ministry "Timothys" following the examples set by The Apostle Paul in the two New Testament letters he wrote to his young servant, Timothy. Paul referred to Timothy as, "My son in the Spirit". Our Central Christian Church Timothys are thought to be "Sons and daughters in the Spirit" of our Church. Among his words of wisdom Paul instructs Timothy to, "show love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith".
