Central Christian Church, at 4711 Westside Drive, just West of the Tollway, invites you to visit. The church is a Disciples of Christ congregation, the oldest American-founded denomination (c. 1809). This specific church is the longest continuously operating Protestant congregation in Dallas, established in 1866. It is sometimes called the “hidden little gem of Dallas churches”. It is not large. It is, instead, wonderfully intimate. The church offers a personal, meaningful worship experience with great dignity and intelligence. Central Christian has the charm of a small town congregation right in the middle of a big city. The vision of the church is to be the hospitable hands of Jesus for our neighbors, near and far. The mission of the church is to invite our neighbors to a life of faith in Jesus Christ and into our congregation. To those ends, we would love to welcome you. |

The Central Dog Park
The Central Dog Park has become a popular meeting place for neighbors and their four-legged friends. Located behind the main campus, it is almost an acre of fenced and secure area for ”Rover” to romp and play. Each Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. (weather permitting), the Dog Park hosts an informal time of worship and devotionals. Coffee and danish is served. For about 20 minutes we worship God under the trees. Dogs abound. Wow! What a unique experience.
